ASI Community Support

Giving back to the communities where our employees live and work is an important part of ASI’s corporate commitment to social responsibility which includes charity donations, volunteering, and employee health and wellness. Over the years ASI has supported the efforts of many organizations within our communities through annual participation.

Charity Donations

Each year ASI employees donate over 350 pounds of food that is distributed to over 275 soup kitchens throughout Alameda County helping to provide healthy meals to over 49,000 children and adults each week. ASI is thankful to the members of the Alameda County Food Bank for everything they do to offer services to those in need.

American Red Cross Logo2018 California Wildfire Relief – Though the deadly wildfires in California are now 100 percent contained, the destruction left behind is immense. More than fourteen thousand homes were destroyed, leaving families reeling from the enormity of the situation. In response, more than 1,700 American Red Cross disaster workers provided comfort and relief in the form of safe shelter, nourishing food and compassionate care during this heart-wrenching disaster. Through employee donations, ASI is proud to support the efforts of the American Red Cross as they help provide relief to individuals and families in the ongoing recovery from the devastating California Wildfires.

California Professional Firefighters LogoWith recent firestorms in California, ASI supports The California Fire Foundation which provides emotional and financial assistance to families of fallen firefighters, firefighters and the communities they protect. Formed in 1987 by California Professional Firefighters, the California Fire Foundation’s mandate includes an array of survivor and victim assistance projects and community initiatives.
