Linksys APP1000 Application Server Appliance

The APP1000 application server appliance enables the deployment of Linksys One applications for Linksys One networks. The APP1000 features a 500 MHZ ARM based processor with 256 MB of RAM and 512 MB of FLASH. There is a single 10/100 Ethernet port and a USB 2.0 host port. The Ethernet port is IEEE 802.3af PoE capable allowing the application server appliance to be powered by a PoE switch. Linksys One applications are tightly integrated with the Linksys One hardware platforms, and thus providing enhanced functionality over standalone applications, while at the same time simplifying the user experience. Installation of the device in the network is simplified through the Linksys One discovery protocol, which enables application server appliance to automatically be aware of all Linksys One devices on the network, including phones, security cameras and storage servers. The APP1000 has a intuitive web interface that simplifies installation and management of applications.
