Intel Core 2010 Processor Family - Overview
Earlier this year Intel introduced several new processors in the Core family which included the Bloomfield Core i7 as well as the Lynnfield Core i7 and Core i5 processors. (ASI University Review of Lynnfield) New, for 2010, Intel is introducing the Clarkdale Core i5 and Core i3 processors that are based on the 32nm version of the Nehalem core code named Westmere.
The new 2010 Intel Core i5 and Intel Core i3 Clarksdale products are dual core processors that in addition to adding some new instructions for accelerating encryption/decryption, also include the Intel HD Graphics engine making these the first Intel processors to include a GPU.
