Intel Xe HPG Microarchitecture
Intel’s Xe HPG GPU is engineered form the ground-up to deliver breakthrough performance, efficiency, and scalability for gamers as well as creators. The Xe HPG GPU utilizes Intel Xe cores to elevate experiences across multiple platforms. Each Xe core includes sixteen 256-bit Vector Engines designed to accelerate gaming applications and traditional workloads. Intel Xe Super Sampling (Intel XeSS)
Intel Xe Super Sampling is an AI-enhanced upscaling technology that takes advantage of the XMX AI hardware acceleration integrated in the Intel Xe cores to enable more performance with high image quality. The goal with Intel XeSS is to give users both high framerates and high resolution without having to choose between the two. Intel Deep Link
Intel Deep Link Technology is designed to pair select Intel Core Processors with Intel Arc GPUs for greater performance and efficiency across workloads. Intel DLT allows the processor to have a direct link to the GPU so workloads can be shared between the integrated graphics on the CPU and the discrete graphics installed on the motherboard. AV1 Video Encoding
Intel Arc GPUs support a wide range of video encoding and also includes hardware accelerated encoding for AV1, which is an open source royalty fee video codec. AV1 provides significantly better compression performance with up to 50% smaller file sizes compared to H.264, allowing users to create, stream, share, and consume high quality content, up to 8K resolutions, with new levels of performance and efficiency.
