ASI employees proudly donated $6,000 and over 1,000 pounds of food to the Alameda County Food Bank

ASI Food Drive 2022Fremont, CA – March 9, 2022 – ASI’s headquarters office located in Fremont, California recently raised over $6,000 and donated an additional 1,000 pounds of food as part of their 8th annual food drive for the Alameda County Food Bank. Employees set out with a goal to collect 800 pounds of food, and we are pleased to announce that goal was surpassed. In fact, ASI not only surpassed their goal, but also raised an additional $6,000 as part of an online gaming event sponsored by Intel during the launch of their 12th Generation Intel Core Processor, where ASI’s sales team competed for proceeds to be donated to a local charity. ASI fielded two teams that finished first and third in the nationwide contest. The proceeds were proudly donated to the Alameda County Food Bank.

The Alameda County Food Bank provides services to 1 in 5 residents in Alameda County through their network of over 200 food pantries and Mobile Pantry trucks. The contributions made by ASI’s employees who live in Alameda County and the surrounding areas will help provide healthy meals to the over 49,000 children and adults served each week by the Alameda County Food Bank.

“We are so honored to work with the Alameda County Food Bank to help provide meals to those in need, and we are equally proud of our employees for their contributions, as well as so very grateful to Intel for sponsoring their event that will help so many in our community,” said Crystal Yuan, ASI Senior VP of Human Resources and Administration.
