Solidigm and AI Computing – From the Edge to the Data Center
The efficacy of AI depends heavily on the processing engines having extremely fast access to large amounts of data in order to maximize performance, properly train the AI models, and to make accurate predictions. Solidigm SSDs provide high capacity and highly reliable drives with industry leading performance to fuel a large array of use cases including machine learning, GenAI, LLM, and inferencing at the edge.

Industry Leading Density
Solidigm leads the industry in density and storage offering drive capacities over 60TB per drive. These high capacity Solidigm SSDs are designed to efficiently accelerate and scale increasingly massive pools of data across a wide range of applications particularly read-intensive workloads such as data lakes for AI, machine learning, big data analytics, advanced imaging, object storage and more.

Industry Leading Performance
Optimizing the performance of your server requires that the processors maintain the highest levels of efficiency which is dependent on having fast access to storage to keep the processor pipelines full of data. Solidigm provides a broad portfolio of drives that utilize the most advanced technologies including PCIe 5.0, 3D TLC NAND, and advanced QLC NAND. Solidigm’s engineering expertise allows them to manufacture drives that deliver consistent performance across the life of the drive. As such, Solidigm drives accelerate a wide range of workloads including AI, enterprise, data center, and general-purpose servers.

Industry Leading Reliability
Data accuracy and the prevention of data loss in enterprise workloads, particularly AI applications in health care, science, weather modeling, and finance as examples, is critical. Solidigm applies their decades of experience to design their drives to include extra checks for power-loss protection and validates the reliability of their drives beyond industry specification by testing for Uncorrectable Bit Error Rates 10x greater than JEDEC standards. The result are drives that are highly reliable, have an AFR (Annualized Failure Rate) less than .44 percent and are resistant to Silent Data Corruption.
