The gaming market is one of the most dynamic segments within the PC industry. Clients in this market look for performance, expansion, and now with the Intel NUC 11 Extreme they can add sleek designs to list of available options. With most small form factor devices features such as Core i9 processors, discrete graphics, NVMe SSD, and VR were not available, until now. The Intel NUC 11 Extreme offers many features users may only find in higher end desktops that are twice the size.
The NUC 11 Extreme is a base system that is made up of modular components that are part of Intel’s family of NUC Elements. The modular design allows for maximum configuration flexibility in a small form factor that offer exceptional service efficiency as well as provide integrators with several upgrade options to better service their clients.
At the high-end, the NUC 11 Extreme includes the Intel Core i9-119000KB, which is an 8 core 16 thread processor that has a Turbo Boost speed of 5GHz. The mainstream version uses the Intel Core i7-11700B which is also an 8 core 16 thread processor that has a Turbo Boost speed of 4.9GHz. Aside from the gaming performance class processors, the Intel NUC 11 Extreme has been redesigned to support a full length PCIe x 16 graphics cards as well as comes with support for up to 64GB of Dual Channel DRAM, has four PCIe NVMe M.2 slots for SSD storage, is equipped with two Thunderbolt 4, 8xUSB 3.1, HDMI, SDXC, RJ45, and includes an Intel WiFi 6 AX210 plus BT wireless card. As an added enhancement, the Intel NUC 11 Extreme also is equipped with programmable RGB lights for the engraved skull logo as well as for ground lighting under the chassis.
